an enchanting location
Italy’s second longest valley famous for it’s unique cuisine, beautifully protected Alpine parks with lodges (over 60% is given over to the naturalist parks of Adamello and Stelvio).
It’s unique culture going back to the stone age.
Roman Amphitheater and statues, ancient castles and one of Italy’s longest cycle paths running down the valley alongside the pretty river Oglio.

Near to Europe’s
largest inland island
With European primacy as the largest island on a lake, it can be reached by ferry from Sulzano, a town overlooking Lake Iseo.
This quaint island is home to one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, home to shops, restaurants with wonderful gardens, bars, and breathtaking landscapes.
Monte Isola can also be visited by walking it entirety by renting a bicycle.

Close to the centre is
the Alpine Lake Moro
Just above the centre is the pretty Alpine lake Moro.
Nestled into a panoramic position looking across the valley.
Popular with both young and old you can swim, peddle boat, Horse ride or just choose a Panoramic restaurant to wind away the day just taking in the beauty of it all.

Rock carvings may not be to everybody’s taste but The Camonica valley has the Europe’s highest concentration of carvings in Europe.
When visited they reveal a rich history and insight into the life of Stoneage man.
Covering an area of 70 sq km’s and with a museum, guided tours and self guided walks you can step back in time to the days before pollution, deforestation, and overpopulation and most of the wild bears, cats and boars are no longer a threat too.
