Our philosophy, the values we believe in

We believe that every person has the right to live with dignity, autonomy, and hope, even when living with Parkinson’s. Our approach combines scientific research, empathetic care, and tailored programs to truly improve quality of life.

Manifesto

  • The future belongs to the person. Not to the disease. Not to the disease.
  • Living well is not a privilege. It's a right.
  • The most effective therapy also embraces emotions.
  • Scientific research and a human approach combined are the key.
  • Strength is shared. Together we are stronger.
  • The environment around you is the most precious soil. Specialists, families, and communities are the lifeblood.
  • True bonds are born from the greatest challenges.
  • Every step, even the small one’s, is progress.
  • Every day counts. Even the "bad" days
  • An open heart and mind change the rules of Parkinson's.
  • Hope is not an illusion: it is a consequence.

Why are we different?

We offer a truly effective therapeutic program that is revolutionizing Parkinson’s treatment

The ReGen therapy is the result of years of research in collaboration with international institutions. This unique, field-validated method is designed to significantly improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s, helping them better manage symptoms and regain independence.

Listening and empathy guide everything we do. At our Center, you are not just a patient: you are a person with real fears, doubts, and aspirations. Our goal is to provide tangible support and genuine care at every stage of your journey.

Our therapies are tailored to meet your specific needs, focusing on achieving measurable outcomes. Through a personalized approach, we can reduce Parkinson’s symptoms by up to 60%, enhancing daily quality of life.

The Center’s founder, Alex Reed, has been living with Parkinson’s for over 20 years and deeply understands the challenges it brings. Therefore, he actively participates in therapies, sharing practical advice based on his personal experience and training with some of the world’s leading neurologists.

We provide full-spectrum support for all aspects of Parkinson’s care: from pelvic floor rehabilitation to tecar therapy, from nutrition to speech therapy, and movement exercises. We address not only the more obvious difficulties, such as walking or maintaining balance, but also the smaller daily challenges, like turning in bed, getting up from a chair, or dressing.

We understand how Parkinson’s can affect psychological well-being, causing anxiety, depression, or apathy. That’s why our approach considers the whole person, offering programs designed to support both the emotional and motivational aspects of living with the disease.

What they say about us

  • Highly recommend

I highly recommend the European Parkinson Therapy Center located in Northern Italy, in the spa town of Boario Terme, in a scenic valley of the lake region, at the foot of the Alps.
Classes were small, 3 to 4 patients plus spouses in attendance, conducted in English, animated by a positive and friendly staff of 7-8 young Italians. One of us was a repeat from last year.
For each of 6 mornings, in a well-equipped fitness room, I performed 1.5 hour of demanding physical exercises under the watchful eye of the same personal trainer; in the afternoon, we attended 1-2 hours of presentations, one group exercise in meditation and personal counseling in goal setting. Spouses opt for a separate interview.
Physical tests of gait and balance were performed on days #1 and #6, to motivate us toward continued practice by showing progress after only a few days.
As a non-profit, it cost less than $800 for 6 days (2 weeks sessions are also available). Additional sessions in psychology and/or neurology counseling and/or massage can be arranged for an extra fee. You can choose your hotel but the Rizzi Aquacharme accross the street is a no brainer at a discounted price + 3 gourmet meals per day plus a 2hr daily access to an indoor spa.

  • Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. ♥️

A warm hello to Roberta, Laura, Alex, Daniele, and all the other wonderful people at the Regen Center!
I’m sorry to be so delayed in responding to your request for feedback to the program, but I have been very busy implementing the lessons that I learned during my week there, and simply getting on with the business of living, that I seem to have very few spare moments! Please feel free to use my comments on your website or other materials. 😘
I learned of your center several months after having been diagnosed, feeling like a bomb exploded in the middle of my life and wondering what the future would hold for me. I (like many others), I had been told by my neurologist that I had Parkinson’s and to take some pills and come back in six months with very little additional guidance or support offered .
This did not feel right to me, so I began my search for resources that could help me figure out a better path forward, one that took into account the psychological aspects as well as the non-pharmaceutical options available to me such as diet and exercise.
What I found of the center was a group of extremely dedicated professionals who seemed entirely focused on helping me with this task. From Dr. Silvia who validated my feelings of grief about my diagnosis, but also assured me that I had I have the power to choose to be an active participant in my own life and disease management, to Daniele who patiently but firmly and with a good sense of humor pushed me to understand that I could work outside of what I thought my physical limits were in order to see improvements in my motor symptoms, to Roberta and Laura, who coordinated all aspects of our days in a friendly and always helpful manner, to Alex the founder who serves as an inspiration an example to all of us “Parkies” of how to live well despite our limitations.
I include my fellow patients in my praise, with whom I found camaraderie and encouragement and shared goals. Everyone involved is an integral piece of the puzzle of learning to live with Parkinson’s and viewing it less like a disease and more of a chronic condition that can be managed.
I feel very lucky that I found the center when I did because I feel that it has set me on the right path at the right time. It is truly a place where you can begin to understand that well the path may be challenging, you can be heard and encouraged. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. ♥️

P.S.I look forward to returning again next year to celebrate my progress.
