OUR CORE PRINCIPLES:
The diagnosis of Parkinson not only changes your life but also that of your family. Just the diagnosis, in fact, can cause depression, fear and denial. The European Parkinson’s Therapy Centre (non-profit) was created with the support of leading neurologists, researchers, therapists from the US, Italy and England to help families from all over Europe to deal with this situation and have the therapy, the knowledge, the support and the tools you need along with the motivation to continue therapy at home and deal with Parkinson’s in a pro-active way.
The Centre has achieved an international reputation for its innovative multi-layered approach based on research showing the people with Parkinson’s and their families that living with Parkinson’s requires changes but there is a way to fight the condition and maintain a good quality of life. The center now has representative offices in 15 countries, is a consultant to the National Associations and collaborates with the Universities and other centers of research across the world.
